This popular family-run city centre coffee roastery and shop is closed at present but they are offering FREE delivery on coffee bag orders over £10 if you can’t get out. Canterbury Wholefoods is a vegetarial health food shop providing wholesome, delicious, ethical ingredients, favouring organic, fairly traded and local products. Still open and supplying Canterbury with fresh meat, cheese and eggs They are offering home deliver or you can pop in to see them. They are working usual opening hours, but will close between 4.30-5.30 depending on demand.

Jeb Hughes’ Fruit and Veg (usually found outside Greggs/Superdrug)

Jeb Fruit and Veg is offering home deliveries of fruit and veg at the moment. Keep an eye on his facebook page (link above) to see what he has on offer and when deliveries are possible.

Kent Fresh Doorstep Delivery 07581 255170

Worry-free delivery of fresh produce to residents of East Kent. They are offering to deliver boxes of fruit and veg to your door for £25 including delivery. Check their facebook page (link above) to see what groceries they are currently offering and to order your box.

Marks and Spencers

Order all your M&S favourites and have them delivered right to your front door via Deliveroo! From champagne to coffee, tasty snacks to all your essentials. Please note: maximum quantity restriction of 2 all the lines.

MicroRoastery – St Margaret Street

If you are missing your Microroastery fix, you can still order their coffee online for delivery by post. They package their coffee in 100g bags upwards and provide free delivery for orders over £8.99 which equates to 300g. Which means you can order three different coffees to enjoy at home

Stag Coffee (and Groceries) – St Margaret’s Street

Canterbury’s excellent coffee shop has transformed its offer to cover all the potential groceries you could need including fresh fruit and veg, meat, fish, flour, pasta and biscuits! All orders must be in by 4pm the day before deliveries. Deliveries are free when you spend £40 or more. A £4 charge will be added for spends under £40. Deliveries further than 3 miles from the shop may incur a small delivery fee. This will be confirmed when placing the order.

Swif Online Convenience Store

Based just outside Canterbury, Swif caters for those night owls that require household goods, beer, wine, spirits, snacks and more, a delivery service, to your door within 60 minutes, via Deliveroo. Swif is available for orders from 7pm-1am only, 7 days a week.

Operating a one in, one out policy, The Cheese Shop is open for business. Local delivery also possible in case getting into Canterbury is impossible or if you are vulnerable, then they are very happy to deliver at no extra charge. If you live a long way away you may just be asked to cover fuel cost. The cheese package will be left at your door for you to enjoy in the evening or over the weekend.  Its not just cheese on sale – a selection of very good wine, fizz, and beer/ale!

The Canterbury Fruit Stall – Whitefriars

Jennie from The Canterbury Fruit Stalls is offering home deliveries if people can get their orders in by 8pm. Visit their Facebook page to place your order. Full list of items available via their social media page (includes tea/bread/milk etc as well as fresh produce). They are also selling fruit and vegetables up at Whitefriars Square every day except Sunday for those that want to pop over and see them (weather allowing).

The Dog Store – Sun Street

To keep your dog, cat or small animals happy, The Dog Store will deliver pet food and accessories (bedding, treats, litter etc) to your door. Call them on 07462 101303 for help or email: jenell@thedogsstore.co.uk. For Canterbury, delivery is FREE with a minimum spend of £15.   

The Fudge Kitchen – Sun Street

The Fudge Kitchen is temporarily closed but their mail order is still open for orders – get your fudge-fix delivered right to your door. They’ve also dropped their Free UK 3-5 Day shipping threshold from £75 to £25.

The Goods Shed  – Station Rd West  – 01227 459153

Stocking locally produced food, The Goods Shed are offering to deliver your shopping to you (within a 15 mile radius) for a £5 delivery charge. The Veg Box Cafe – Burgate – 01227 456654

The Veg Box is providing a home delivery service of all the goods a family will need for a week spent at home together in isolation. You can choose between two sizes at £120 and £60 recommended for units of 4 and 2 respectively. Please message them via FB if you have any questions and especially if you’d like to register for this service. They’re offering delivery across the district, not just in the city centre.
