Canterbury Bid

MyCanterbury is brought to you by Canterbury BID. We’re here to help you get the very best from your city. We’re funded by the businesses of Canterbury city centre and we offer information, deals and discounts, and inspiration to make your time in the city fun and rewarding. We operate social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram make sure you check them out for daily updates from across the city!) We talk with our local audience via a weekly e-newsletter, updating them on what’s on, what’s new, what’s coming up and where they can find a great local experience.

If you have birthdays and celebrations coming up, and you have family members who are impossible to buy for, why not get them a Canterbury Gift Card which allows them shop in over 100 (and counting!) different city centre businesses once the city is safe to reopen.

Is your diary already full to the brim with Canterbury events? Make sure you haven’t missed any by clicking on our Events Calendar.

Have you taken a look at this year’s Summer Guide to Canterbury? Put your feet up for 5 minutes and flick through this edition – find out what’s on, where to eat, shop and have fun in Canterbury!

Get to know your local….

It’s time to get to know more about the person behind the counter / bar / table / reception desk, in this series of interviews with local businesses:

“They say that when you buy from a small business, someone does a little happy dance. This couldn’t be closer to the truth.”

Olivia, Fitzgerald Jewellers
