It is essential that Canterbury remains a vibrant and creative destination for visitors and locals. Canterbury boasts a rich mix of events throughout the year, delivering over 105,000 visitors to the city centre annually.
Canterbury BID works closely with local event companies to produce an annual events calendar. This is used to give a birds eye view of all the events schedules for the year ahead, and can help businesses help to plan their marketing activities for the year ahead:

The BID both supports events and runs runs events that benefit the city centre. It invests in existing events and festivals and supports the development of new ones, ensuring that they benefit BID levy payers directly in driving footfall and profitability. It also runs the Medieval Pageant and Trail and the Christmas Lights Switch-On.
