Canterbury BID Networking takes place once a month in a variety of different venues. This gives local businesses an opportunity to showcase their establishment and activities to other local business members. Each month sees between 50-60 members come together for an informal, relaxed and sociable gathering. It’s a great opportunity to get to know fellow professionals in Canterbury.

October BID Evening Networking
Riverside Canterbury
(Boom Battle Bar and Sekkoya)

The Riverside is Canterbury’s newest leisure quarter, positioned on the north side of Canterbury by Kingsmead, hosting bars and restaurants, a cinema complex, and an epic games venue.
BID Members, you are all invited to our double-capacity Autumn networking event. We will meet in restaurant and cocktail bar, Sekkoya for drinks and nibbles and plenty of time to network before moving on to Boom Battle Bar opposite to explore the venue and try their epic games including crazy golf, axe-throwing, interactive darts and shuffleboard!
Getting there:
- Riverside is only a 10-minute walk from the city centre, via Northgate
- There is also a car park underneath
- Buses run regularly (Herne Bay, Margate & Sturry)

Online Networking in 2021
Through Spring to Autumn 2021, we hosted monthly networking sessions via Zoom. Each session welcomed over 50 local business representatives, and showcased local products including a chocolate tasting with Madame Oiseau, beer tasting with Shepherd Neame and gin tasting with The Foundry – cheers to that!
