Theatre in the Westgate Park: Hound Of The Baskervilles

West-End smash comedy hit The Hound Of The Baskervilles comes to the Westgate Gardens this summer! Running from 22 July-1 August, Ben Roddy (one of the country's most popular panto dames) will be providing some outdoor laughs in this comedy spoof. Tower House will provide a stunning backdrop and its proximity to the city centre will enable the audience to enjoy the all the city's food and drink offering both before and after the production. THE CANTERBURY DUCK RACE IS BACK This family-friendly fundraiser is being held in the Westgate Gardens on  19 September with 4,000 plastic ducks, each sponsored for £1, floated in the water at Toddlers Cove, then 'raced' down the river Stour to the Westgate Gardens Bridge (ps, all plastic ducks are removed from the river at the end of the race!) This event is organised by the Rotary Club of Canterbury, with funds raised going to great causes.
