A week-long music festival celebrating the end of the extra-curricular musical year is being held at the University of Kent. The Summer Music Week is running from Sunday 5 - Saturday 11 June and features a wide variety of music acts such as a beachside Big Band, recitals, choirs, a 'Music for a Summer's Day' concert plus much more. Repurpose and re-use broken items, appliances and more by repairing and fixing them (where possible) next Saturday 11 June, 10am-12.30pm at the Baptist Church, St George’s Place (opposite Waitrose). The Repair Café is a free community service, run entirely by skilled volunteers, who fix up a multitude of items including clothing, electricals, pottery, computers and bikes. Find out more HERE
