While Halloween is all about the scares and frights, no one wants to feel unsafe…
On Thursday 31 October Canterbury BID joined Canterbury City Council’s Community Safety Unit Safety Pop-up Hub outside McDonalds from 9pm to midnight in order to promote Canterbury as a safe city, handing out glow sticks (to highlight safety), spikies (anti drink spiking bottle stoppers), promoting Canterbury’s Lit Routes (#litroutes) and personal alarms – plus the BID’s new Christmas shopping maps.
