Purple Flag Raised for Halloween Night

While Halloween is all about the scares and frights, no one wants to feel unsafe… 

On Thursday 31 October Canterbury BID joined Canterbury City Council’s Community Safety Unit Safety Pop-up Hub outside McDonalds from 9pm to midnight in order to promote Canterbury as a safe city, handing out glow sticks (to highlight safety), spikies (anti drink spiking bottle stoppers), promoting Canterbury’s Lit Routes (#litroutes) and personal alarms – plus the BID’s new Christmas shopping maps.
