Canterbury Connected BID is delighted to announce the appointment of Bob Jones as its first permanent Chief Executive.
Mr Jones has held the post on an interim basis since Canterbury Connected BID was established last October after a successful ballot of city centre business ratepayers in July 2014.
His appointment follows the election of a permanent Board earlier this year to oversee the organisation and a competitive recruitment process that saw three very strong candidates shortlisted for the job.
Canterbury BID Chairman Clive Relf said: “All three of the shortlisted applicants performed well at interview however the four members of the recruitment panel were unanimous in their verdict that Bob Jones was the best person for the job. On behalf of the Board of Canterbury Connected BID, I am delighted to appoint him as our first permanent Chief Executive and look forward to working with him to bring our exciting plans for the City to fruition.”
