Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for the new Board Directors. There are seven new directors joining the existing board: canterburybid.co.uk/the-board.
We are also saying a huge thank you to three directors who are stepping down after more than 10 years of service – Dan Grimwood from Refectory Kitchen, David Lilford from Lilford Gallery and Lilford Framing and Karl Elliott from Clague Architects.
The Board ensures the strategic delivery of the BID’s business plan between now and the end of our term in September 2029. They will be taking proactive responsibility in overseeing the BID team to deliver projects and initiatives that will benefit the city.
We want to thank all of the candidates, and we look forward to working with everyone in Canterbury’s business community.
The Board meets four times a year, in addition to various sub-committees to ensure best practice and best value in all that we do. The Board takes responsibility for the strategic and financial management of the BID. Alongside the Board there are a variety of committees and working groups that feed into the Board.
