As the festive season approaches, increased stock levels and festive decorations can create fire risks.
Unfortunately, larger amounts of stock can increase the fire load, meaning that if a fire did occur, it would spread faster than usual. It can also often lead to fire exists and aisles being blocked, putting yourself, staff, customers and visitors at risk.
If you’re bringing the festive cheer by decorating your premises with lights and decorations, please also check that any lights are undamaged and PAT-tested for safety.
