Window displays are crucial for creating the right first impression – attracting attention from those who may not have noticed you otherwise! Competition for any retailer is high at the moment and window-dressing skills are more important than ever. It’s not what you put in your window – but how you make it shine! Or maybe you don’t have a shop but still need to create the ‘wow!’ factor.
Last year we invited Janet Billings from Made you Look! to run a training session for Canterbury businesses and it was fully booked. We are bringing her back this year on Thursday 13 September between 10am and 4pm at The Westgate Hall.
Janet started working for a company designing and building props for use in window displays for Debenhams, Selfridges and Harrods. In 1985 she set up her own Display Company offering a full service, from design through to installation of exhibition stands and window displays.
Whether you want to freshen up your display or plan for Christmas or hear about, this free training session is for you. We will also have a special presentation about World War 1 Commemoration and ideas for your shop window.
There will be presentations at 10am and 2pm (choose one) and half hour one- to- one consultations from 10.30-13.00 and 2.30-4.00.
